Esmeralda Valencia Lindström
Esmeralda's recent work uses the meeting between recorded objects and recording equipment as a starting point to explore material qualities as well as social situations. Outcomes can be installation, video, objects or performance. Esmeralda also has an interest in subjective experiences of architecture and place and have recently been working with cameras attached to cats to record a social housing complex in the south of Sweden, playing with ideas of setting, narrative and abstraction.
Esmeralda has exhibited internationally and graduated from the Royal Academy Schools in London in 2011.
